Intro to Camp 2025
For Grades Completed: First, Second and Third

Some parents and some children, understandably, have hesitations about sending their child to camp or attending camp themselves. Introduction to Camping is our solution to making the transition to a full week of camp a little less worrisome by offering an abbreviated version of the real deal. We offer an overnight stay with 3 meals and many of the activities one would encounter during a full week of camp. We encourage parents or close guardians to join their children so that both the parent and child can experience exactly what it will be like at camp. It is a great bonding time not just with other campers but with one other as well.
Our goal is to reduce anxiety of those first-time campers by providing a positive experience for our future campers alongside the comforting presence of a loved one in the form of a one day, one night stay. Our Intro campers get to experience worship in the Chapel, meals in the Dining Hall, Bible study, recreation activities, and sleeping in the cabins overnight.
